I am not sure who said this but it is true and we all know it. Some of us address it and some do not. Do not wait for motivation to come to you, it will appear and disappear. Think about what is best for you and just try to act.
A good way to get started is just by completing small tasks and slowly grow your "discipline muscle" as you start to do more you will notice that things that felt difficult before are now becoming easier to do on the command.
